Who requires emergency care?
Our clients trust Corinium Care to support them through many different circumstances and a variety of different conditions. Some of the most common needs for our emergency care are pre and post-operative care, elderly and disabled adults needing urgent support, and those who need an overnight carer in place as soon as possible.
So if your loved one has experienced any of the following, we can help you, usually within 24 hours:
- Have had an unexpected fall or injury
- Have had a previous illness or symptoms flare up
- A family member or relative who is normally in charge of care has other commitments they urgently need to attend to
- Need hospital or post-operative convalescent discharge care
- Would like emergency palliative care for someone with a terminal illness who wishes to return home
What will an emergency carer do?
The duties of a Corinium Care carer very much depend on the needs of the client.
Our carers are on hand to help with personal care needs such as bathing and toileting as well as household duties like cooking, cleaning and shopping, and to generally help make their client’s life as rich as possible. Most of all, our live-in carers are always there to provide companionship and peace of mind.
Our carers look after our clients with the same compassion as they would a member of their own family.

Our live-in carers
At Corinium Care all our services, regardless of length or level, are live-in care services. The carers will live in your loved ones home with them to provide round the clock companionship as well as any other other help required. Read more about our live-in carers on our live-in care page.
