Rapid and responsive reablement care service
We understand that sometimes you don’t expect to need help or it is only a short term care package that is needed to facilitate recovery. It may be that you or a family member has had an unexpected fall or injury, a short term condition that requires reablement care, returning home from hospital with a reablement period needed or even cover for a carer’s absence.
We are experienced in implementing fully personalised reablement home care to help customers get back to full health as quickly and smoothly as possible. As a group of linked supportive care managers across the country, we have a large nationwide network of registered carers that can swiftly help with your home care requirements.
Our approach to reablement home care
Our team will still work to the same high standards as long-term care customers, ensuring that the complete care package is on your terms, tailored to your requirements and providing carers who are fully trained to look after your physical and emotional wellbeing. They will bring you back to a comfortable pace of life whilst you recover and recuperate in your home, an extra pair of hands to help you get back to full strength, which can be a welcome solution for a short period of time whilst needed.
We are regularly called upon to provide live-in reablement care when clients have had emergency surgery or have experienced a period of ill health and are in need of extra support while recuperating. We are able to assist clients with post-operative exercise plans and provide a healthy diet of freshly cooked food to get clients back on the road to health.
Key points of reablement care
- Reablement is a short service which is offered to people with disabilities and those who are frail or recovering from an illness or injury
- The purpose of reablement is to help people who have experienced deterioration in their health and/or have increased support needs to relearn the skills required to keep them safe and independent at home
- People using reablement experience greater improvements in physical functioning and improved quality of life compared with using standard home care
- Having a live-in carer for a short period also offers family members or those who normally provide care a break, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your relative is receiving round-the-clock care when they need it most
We welcome calls from those who are looking for short term live-in care and are always available to discuss individual requirements, working with you to create a personally tailored care plan and providing carefully matched carers to ensure customer-carer compatibility.
