What is Parkinson’s and what are the symptoms?
Parkinson’s disease is a neurological condition caused by a loss of nerve cells in part of the brain. The causes are fairly unknown but the symptoms are clear. Parkinsons causes motor problems, such as shaking and stiffness, as well as issues with memory and sleep. It is a progressive condition that worsens over time.
At Corinium Care, we have been supporting adults living with Parkinson’s for the last over 25 years. We have provided award-winning care to enable our clients with Parkinson’s disease to live comfortably and happily. Parkinson’s can have a devastating effect on the sufferer’s mental heath due to the deterioration of the brain and the symptoms. Our carers are compassionate, thoughtful and understanding companions; it is their passion to uplift their client’s and put a smile on their face.
