Applying for a live-in care job
Now, more than ever, we are seeking reliable individuals to help those in need of home care.
How the selection process works
All those looking for a carer job through Corinium Care go through a detailed selection process and must take part in our free one-week training programme run out of our head office in Gloucestershire. During that training period, our carers are closely assessed for their ability to work in such a sensitive role. Our Care Managers are able to get to know each new arrival and to build an understanding of their particular strengths. We seek to ensure that our carers have the personality and commitment essential to the wellbeing of our clients.
For further assistance please do not hesitate to call the recruitment team on 01453 839731.
References
Before we can process an application for live-in care jobs, we need to acquire three satisfactory responses from your referees. In the case of international referees, it is advisable to provide email addresses or fax numbers to speed up the application process.
Invitation to join our training course
Once you have been successful in your interviews and we have approved your application, we will invite you to attend our induction and training course. For our 3-day training course, you will need to attend 2 days’ face-to-face training in our facilities in Worcester Park (Greater London – KT4) with our own in-house trainers. Day 3 is online and can be done from home. Day 3 is half a day instead of a full day.
We also provide regular refresher training courses throughout your career with us so you can be sure your skills will be kept up to date.
Please note that acceptance onto the Corinium Care training course does not mean your application to join our register of live-in carers has been successful. After completing all compliance checks such as DBS and references, we will finalise your application to become a live-in carer after your training and assessment.
Before you arrive for your training week, we advise you to sort out the necessary documentation, such as National Insurance, Right to Work documentation including work permits (for carers from outside the UK), and a UK bank account
