Become a live-in carer and help vulnerable adults to safely isolate during the Coronavirus lockdown
Now, more than ever, we are seeking reliable individuals to help those in need of home care but are self-isolating. Frequent changes of carers and visiting care is not a practical solution during these times.
With the recent government lock-down and instructions to stay at home and self-isolate, our service helps customers continue to receive the support they need, whether it be care support or simply company and companionship, throughout the UK
The role of live-in care
- Assisting vulnerable adults and the elderly aged 70 and over to safely self-isolate in the comfort of home
Our carers live in the home 24 hours a day, 7-days a week reducing unnecessary contact from multiple healthcare professionals during the coronavirus outbreak
- Fully trained in the importance of good hygiene practice and infection control, our live-in carers help clients to stay safe at home
- From collecting medication or groceries to accepting contactless shopping, carers ensure all external activity is in line with rigorous infection control procedures to help keep clients as safe as possible
- Care is exclusively tailored to customer needs with round-the-clock support from our fully managed service. Your dedicated Care Manager will keep in regular contact with you and the customer, and fully inform about the latest government guidelines relating to the coronavirus outbreak. They are committed to ensuring that they exceed your expectations throughout your placement
On this page, you can apply for live-in carer jobs with Corinium Care. If you think you’d like to apply to be a live-in carer, the first thing to do is to complete the online job application form on this page or by downloading a hard copy of the application form and returning to us by post.
Before we can process an application for live-in care jobs, we need to acquire three satisfactory responses from your referees. In the case of international referees, it is advisable to provide email addresses or fax numbers to speed up the application process.
Invitation to join our training course
Once we have received suitable references and approved your application for live-in carer jobs, we invite you to attend our induction and training course. This is a five-day course held once a month at our head office in Nailsworth in Gloucestershire. Our luxury carer accommodation “Railway House Apartments” is also available at a heavily subidised rate for our trainees.
We also provide regular refresher training courses throughout your career with us so you can be sure to keep your skill sets up-to-date.
Please note that acceptance onto the Corinium Care training course does not mean your application to join our register of live-in carers has been successful. We will finalise your application to become a live-in carer after five days of interview, induction, training and assessment in Gloucestershire.
Before you arrive for your training week, we advise you to sort out the necessary documentation, such as National Insurance, work permit (for carers from outside the UK), and a UK bank account.
