Leading live-in care agency Corinium Care Limited has donated £500 to the Alzheimer’s Society.
The donation came after clients were asked in a recent survey which charity they would like Corinium Care to donate to in lieu of receiving a Christmas card. The Alzheimer’s Society was a very popular choice, receiving 44% of the total votes.
Managing Director Clare Janik comments: “With dementia on the increase, the Alzheimer’s Society is very much a charity close to the hearts of our clients and their families. The donation marks the third time that Corinium Care has supported the charity through different events. “
From climbing Ben Nevis by moonlight, to a 10km Memory Walk, Corinium Care is no stranger in fundraising for the charity and has donated almost £1500 since 2014. Clare said “It is a pleasure to continually support such a worthy cause that does such great work for the community.”
Alzheimer’s Society representative Lee Hawthorne collected the cheque from the Corinium Care HQ in Nailsworth. He thanked the company for the ongoing support, which helps the charity to fund new research and provides much needed support to families who may have been affected by dementia.
The award winning live-in care agency, based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, provides live-in care for frail and elderly people across the country who need care and companionship to stay safely in their own home.
