MD addresses conference in praise of enterprising women

Corinium Care’s Managing Director is the launch speaker at this year’s Gloucestershire Enterprising Women Conference.

The event on November 24, now in its 10th year, aims to celebrate success and offer inspiration.

MD Clare Janik, who earlier this year won the title Woman of the Year in the Gloucestershire Women in Business Awards, will speak on the theme of ‘making a difference’.

“I’ve had the privilege of meeting hundreds of inspirational women – both clients and carers – in the live-in care industry and am pleased to have an opportunity to pay homage to the spirit and determination that exists throughout the sector,” she said.

The conference at the Hatherley Manor Hotel is organised by Gloucestershire Enterprise Ltd. Other speakers include Director of NatWest Bank Julie Powell, and sisters Ciceley and Clarice Elliott-Berry who hit the headlines with their Sibling Distillery Ltd.

Keynote speaker is Jamie McDonald who ran £5,000 miles across Canada in 2014, and has raised more than £200,000 for sick children in Canada and the UK.
